If you are looking for "drip-less" candles - DO NOT BUY THESE. They are definitely not drip-less! I used them for Halloween (2014) and they dripped down the candles and onto the holders. I would not use them for a dining room dinner - what a mess it would make on a tablecloth.Having said that - I looked all over for tapered black candles and they are difficult to find. These worked and did give the look I wanted for Halloween, but you have to be prepared to clean off the wax drippings.
