One of the tea light candles doesn’t work well & may require a new battery after just one use, giving this 4 stars.I thought the color of the green would be a bit brighter, but it will work. One of the little votive style doesn’t really work right. It barely lights up and just flickers. It doesn’t work with the remote while all the rest of the candles do. Other than that, they accomplish what I wanted them for.These are nice looking candles. They aren't the kind with the waving plastic thing (which I kind of like) but they do a good job at mimicking the flickering of a flame. I wish they were rechargeable. For some reason I have already had to put new batteries in one of them, but not the others. I hope that was an outlier.For some reason, the votives will not operate with the remote control. I have tried both settings- nothingThere was no remote control in the boxLoved the color as it matched my stained glass windows. They are beautiful and love the timer. The only thing I didn’t like was the votive size, as they are a solid color and the remote and timer does not work on them. They have to be done manually.I have had these now for about 6-8 weeks and used them only 2 times. I cannot get them to work with the remote or manually. Very disappointed as they are very nice looking. Changed the batteries and still don’t work.I wish the top portion of the candle had been more green like the picture showed instead of white.Although the product itself came and very fine Packaging with brand new batteries that all work beautiful color and text her I was very disappointed that the votive candles are not functional with the remote control now granted it was my fault for not reading the question and answers but when I came across this product in Amazon I read the description and know where did I read or did it stand out to me that the votives were not functional with the remote control so I was under the impression that all eight candles were remote control operational however again this was not the case and I missed it so I just want to stress that although it's a beautiful product and I was pleased with it I was very disappointed that not all the candles can be used with the remote and I think that that should be in bold for everybody to see in the description because otherwise you can be under the misconception that all eight candles are remote control operational so with this being stated I give it three starsAll work fine but it is not clear that the small ones are not functional by the remote control. you have to physically turn each one off and on. Batteries all included so apart from this very nice.So upset timer doesn’t work tried to get replacement gone up £10 as not sold by Amazon they can’t re order at that priceHave to keep the faulty product as they are the main piece for my centre pieceLooked good but even with the timer function I went through a lot of batteries. Small ones need turning off by hand.I dont have a lot of complaints, the remote works great and it looks really nice. Creates a nice atmosphere. The reason I gave four instead of five is because one of the candles was a bit chipped and the battery in the remote was not working (which took me some time to figure out as I just thought the remote wasn't working at all, luckily I had spare batteries at home)Great product as advertised, arrived quickly
