Surprisingly heavy duty. Bought this one to replace a much cheaper, thinner grate that had melted. This beast is going to last for a good long time. Very, very well made. Note: The metal rods are a diamond shape, not a square. Would definately buy again for the price. The base supports in the middle age much needed and not included on cheaper versions.
